SOLD – 1993 Data East Tales from the Crypt (#3) (6 ball Multi-ball) (Factory shaker motor, new cabinet HEAD decals, new translite, side art blades, new lock down bar, New Topper)

Gorgeous fully restored Data East Tales from the Crypt. Great crypt keeper sounds, voice and video. Fast, fast game play and amazing 3 ball and 6 ball Multi-ball action. Not to mention the cool looking game topper. Beside the normal restoration level described below, this game also got: new HEAD cabinet side art, new translite, new lock down bar, new playfield glass.

All boards were removed and serviced for reliability. Battery was replaced with NVRAM chip. Cold solder joints reflowed. Exterior lower cabinet was in great shape. Head had some damage to it, so wood was sanded, filled, painted then head decals were applied. Game was vacuumed inside and washed inside. Original power cord was replaced for safety.

Playfield was disassembled, cleaned, polished and waxed. All playfield plastics and metal were washed and polished. Game was converted to LED bulbs. Plastic playfield posts were replaced with new, all playfield inserts were cleaned underneath to remove EMF dust. All flippers and bumpers were fully rebuilt with new parts above and below the playfield. New rubber bands were installed.

Translite glass was cleaned and polished before new translite was installed. Lock down receiver was removed, cleaned then painted. New lock down bar was added. Coin door was repainted. Legs were repainted. Bright strip lighting was added at the rear of the playfield to illuminate the rear plastic panel. Unique ball shooter housing shaped like doorhandle with head of crypt keeper was cleaned. Factory Shaker Motor was adjusted. All games come with manual, wiring schematics and copy of the original sales flyer.

Game looks like new and plays strong and silky smooth.
