Shipping Information

Since the most common question I receive is about shipping, I have outlined the details below.

OPTIONS:

1 – Local pick up at my shop.
2 – Shipping via local driver I could put you in touch with. This would be to Eastern & Central US.

$200.00 flat-rate within Florida (paid to driver at time of delivery)

3 – Shipping via STI/North American Van Lines trucking company. They pick the machine up as is fully assembled. For a quote call (877) 432-2646, this will get you too Michelle or Judy in the gaming division – they call it a blanket wrap. You will need to provide your zip code, my zip code of 32726, let them know my facility is a commercial establishment that is 18 wheeler accessible and that they will need a power lift gate truck. Depending on several different factors including distance, distance from hubs and insured value, price usually ranges between $550.00 – $650.00

4 – Optional packaging/wrapping service for shipping is available to protect the paint (see details below).

Packaging/wrapping products for shipment

Since these restored machines have fresh paint and in some cases have to travel 1,000+ miles to its destination, I have had inquiries about packaging options. I came up with a successful system that involves wrapping the machine in a blanket of felt, adding cardboard corner braces along the wood cabinet corners, adding the same corner braces down the outside of the metal legs, adding the corner brace to the front coin slot & plunger area, cutting and fitting cardboard panels to wrap around the entire machine, then stretch wrapping around the cabinet, head and legs to secure everything in place and finally place a large decal on each side of the cabinet that boldly states “Please Use Care – Glass Top”.

All in all it takes two people about two hours to do it correctly. The cost is $75.
