SOLD – 1980 Gottlieb Buck Rogers

Beautiful restoration on this highly visual game.

Legs were cleaned and polished, new leg bolts and leg adjusters were installed. CPU was replaced with a brand new Ni-Wumpf board for reliability. Power supply board and driver board were removed and serviced for reliability. Front of cabinet was damaged by someone doing a bad repair of a coin lock bar holes. Front section was sanded to wood, filled, sanded then repainted original colors with a custom made stencil. Reinforced leg bolt plates were installed inside the cabinet for the back legs.

Playfield was disassembled, cleaned, polished and waxed. All playfield plastics and metal were washed and cleaned. Game was converted to LED bulbs. All playfield posts were replaced with new, all playfield inserts were cleaned underneath to remove EMF dust. Flippers and bumpers were fully rebuilt with new parts above and below the playfield.

Backside of backglass was cleaned to remove nicotine, then coated with Triple-Thick clear. Coin door cleaned. Lock down receiver was removed, cleaned then polished. Ball shooter housing was removed and polished. Lock down bar and siderails were cleaned and polished.

Game looks great and plays silky smooth.
