CUSTOMER RESTORATION – 1986 Williams High Speed #5 (RR)

This is one those games that so many people remember and love. This game is owned by a customer of ours that wanted it restored so that it looked and played just as nice as the other pins they bought from us.

Legs were cleaned and polished, new leg bolts and leg adjusters were installed. All boards were removed and serviced for reliability. Battery was remoted off board. Original power cord was replaced for safety. Cabinet was cleaned and washed inside and out.

Playfield was disassembled, cleaned, polished and waxed. All playfield plastics and metal were washed and polished. Game was converted to LED bulbs with green GI lighting. All playfield posts were replaced with new, all playfield inserts were cleaned underneath to remove EMF dust. All flippers and bumpers were fully rebuilt with new parts above and below the playfield. New rubber bands were installed.

Front side of backglass was cleaned and polished. New chrome backglass lift tray was installed. Coin door was removed and painted. Lock down receiver was removed, cleaned then painted. Ball shooter housing was removed, cleaned and polished. Lock down bar and siderails were cleaned and polished. Speaker panel was removed and the metal pieces repainted silver.

Playfield needed only minor paint touch up. Cabinet was touched up where needed. Top Police beacon motor was replaced with new (not in at time of pictures).

Game looks like new and plays strong and silky smooth.
