CUSTOMER RESTORATION – 1979 Bally Paragon (wide-body)
This is one of those early Solid State pins that most people remember. Wide-body size with 4 bumper and 4 flippers. Great artwork on the cabinet and backglass design.
Legs were cleaned and painted, new black leg bolts and black leg adjusters were installed. All boards were removed and serviced for reliability. All Molex pins (male and female) were replaced with new. Original power cord was replaced for safety. Head was wobbly so the base that the head mounts to was reinforced. Bottom of cabinet was loose in some areas, that was all repaired.
Playfield was disassembled, cleaned, polished and waxed. All playfield plastics and metal were washed and polished. Game was converted to LED bulbs. All playfield posts were replaced with new, all playfield inserts were cleaned underneath to remove EMF dust. All flippers and bumpers were fully rebuilt with new parts above and below the playfield. New rubber bands were installed.
Front side of backglass was cleaned and polished. Backside was sealed with Triple Thick clear. New chrome backglass lift tray was installed. Coin door was removed and polished. Lock down receiver was removed, cleaned then painted. Ball shooter housing was removed, cleaned and polished. Lock down bar and siderails were cleaned and polished. Several bad lamp sockets were replaced. New piece of tempered playfield glass was installed. All games come with manual, wiring schematics and copy of the original sales flyer.
Game looks great and plays strong and smooth.
