CUSTOMER RESTORATION – 1974 Gottlieb Out of Sight (Repainted Cabinet)
Gorgeous 70’s Gottlieb game. This is a customer owned machine that is restored to like new condition. Cabinet was completely disassembled, then wood was filled and sanded, primed, sanded again then painted with PP stencils. Oil base paints are used for this. Then new coin door, striker plate and coin entrance plate were installed. Legs were replaced with new and new leg bolts and leg adjusters were installed. Original power cord was replaced for safety. Game was high tapped for added excitement. Flipper coils were upgraded to A-5141 Orange Dot coils for stronger game play.
Backglass was replaced with new. Lock down receiver was removed, cleaned then painted. Ball shooter housing was replaced. Lock down bar was cleaned and polished. New side rails were installed. Backbox rear metal panel was cleaned and painted.
Playfield was disassembled, cleaned, polished and waxed. All playfield plastics and metal were washed and polished. Game was converted to LED bulbs. All playfield posts were replaced with new, all playfield inserts were replaced with new. All flippers and bumpers were fully rebuilt with new parts above and below the playfield. New rubber bands were installed. New piece of tempered playfield glass was installed.
Game looks like new and plays strong and smooth.
