Hard to find Gold Wings machine with unique “Air-Horn” inside bottom of cabinet. This air-horn has got to be heard to be believed. This is Gottlieb’s rendition of the movie Top Gun. William’s version of Top Gun was F-14 Tomcat. Both great games.
Legs, side rails, lock down bar, shooter housing and rear glass channel receiver were all removed from machine, wire wheeled clean, then painted with Gold automotive two-part epoxy paint for look and durability. New leg bolts and leg adjusters were installed. Boards were removed and serviced for reliability. Game was vacuumed inside and washed inside and out.
Playfield was disassembled when the game came into our shop. Playfield was cleaned then polished with Novus 2, then waxed. All playfield plastics and metal were washed and polished. Game was converted to LED bulbs. All playfield posts were replaced with new, all playfield inserts were cleaned underneath to remove EMF dust. All flippers and bumpers were fully rebuilt with new parts above and below the playfield. New rubber bands were installed.
Game has an alternate translite from the original. In my opinion, it is simply stunning and not as 1980’s cheesy as the original. Coin door was removed and painted. Lock down receiver was removed, cleaned then painted. All games come with manual, wiring schematics and copy of the original sales flyer.
Game looks like amazing and plays silky smooth.
